From one side to the other

Photobucket

This overpass goes through EDSA, a main thoroughfare in Metro Manila, and connects pedestrians from EDSA or McKinley street to Ayala Avenue, the entrance of the Central Business district. The buildings behind it are hotels. A friend of mine, who's lived in the area her whole life, says the Intercontinental Hotel, the white building in the photo and a five-star hotel, is one of the oldest buildings in the area. It was there way before other buildings were constructed. Way before this bridge, for sure.

a covered pedestrian bridge is so convenient. we should have more of them in Canada, I think!
