Saints

This is the Church of the Latter Day Saints. I posted this before, here, but it was a photo taken during the evening. I really like the statue on top of the tallest spire.

Double take

...well sort of. I just did a double take when I saw this building in the Central Business District, where I work. I didn't know which side was the front.

Posh residence

Here we are at the Eastwood Palazzo Residence. The name sounds so... swanky. There is an arch there because I was standing in the doorway of the Holy Family Chapel, a chapel dedicated to Padre Pio, the Saint famous for his stigmata. Tomorrow I'll post a picture of the chapel's facade.

Palace

... well, sort of. This is the Church of the Latter Day Saints, or the Mormon Church. I kind of like how palatial the church looks, with the two spires flanking the tallest one. A friend who has been inside says it's even more beautiful on the inside. I would love to see the interiors, but I'm not sure anyone can just go in.

Worship

The Church also has an intricately-carved wooden door. I just love the artistry that goes into designing places of worship.
