Oasis

For some time now, I have been encouraging friends, especially those who work in Makati, to visit The Ayala Triangle Gardens. It's such a pretty little spot in the middle of the Makati Central Business District. Most of them just nod, mumble something along the lines of "Sure yeah one of these days" and conveniently forget about it. Then I say "It's like our own Central Park! Like New York!" and I see their eyes light up at the thought of Manila being anything like the glitzy, glamorous world of The City That Never Sleeps.
