Fly

When I was young, my dad would take my brother and me kite flying, usually near his place of work in Quezon City. I found this kite seller and his motley crew of kite creatures (check out the butterfly and the bat) not in Quezon City, but in the field in front of Luneta (where our national hero, Jose Rizal, is buried) in the city of Manila. Still, I'm glad children these days still fly kites, like my brother and I did, many many years ago.

On another note, in-Manila is officially a member of City Daily Photo! Yay!

Hi everyone! Thank you for dropping by my site. Hilda is just the sweetest! I've been checking out the blogs on CDP for the longest time and I'm thrilled to be part of it!

Kites are so fun to watch, no? The way they just dance in the wind. One of these days I'm going kite flying again. Maybe I'll buy from that fellow over there! See you around the community everybody! :)

Don't forget the link code! ;)

Heehee, sorry for the jab about your on-and-off blogs, couldn't resist. And I'm glad you got a warm welcome. About half a year into my blog, I realized that it helps a person a lot to continue when s/he gets comments, so I try to make it a point to welcome new CDP bloggers (they're listed in . And as long as my time permits, I try to visit as much as I can and comment too. Of course, there are some days that it's just impossible (tomorrow will be one of them), but I try.

Welcome again, Mia! Just enjoy yourself! :)
