Remnant of the past

After World War II, Manila was considered the second most destroyed city in the world after Warsaw. I guess people then were so eager to rebuild they forgot to consider the aesthetic factor. I can understand why this city hall wasn't too popular with the people after it was rebuilt in 1946. This isn't exactly a paragon of architectural grandeur, if I may say so myself.

I have not realised about the damage to Manila during WW2. So interesting.

Yes, WWII was a horrible era for the whole world. It shouldn't ever happen again.
