Manila, once more

Photobucket

So here's another picture I think I posted before, of fire trees, and I played around with the colors again. I like the little lomography effect, although I'm not a lomo person myself.

In other news, June 24 is Manila Day! Yay for the city that I love :) Click here for an interesting link featuring photos of Old Manila, including what the World War has destroyed as well as a running commentary on the photos. As you might know and as I mentioned in a previous post, Manila was the second most destroyed city (after Warsaw) during the war. It's sad what happened, and although Manila still has its kinks and flaws, I'm proud of how far we've come :)

Caballero? I love that tree! And I also love how everything's finally turning green again.

Thanks for the link! You know I'm going to find it fascinating. The thing's taking forever to load though (I'm in school, hehehe).
